Apple Pay customer contact Phone Number

1. Customer Places an order using Apple Pay 2. Checkout options set for phone number to be required ( relates to the field understand that express checkout by-passes this). Expected result : Full customer contact details including phone number included in the order details. Actual Result ( sometimes ) : Phone number not included with customer details. Is it possible to require Apple Pay to include a phone number or prompt the user that they need a phone number for the order? I presume these instances where the phone number is missing is due to the information not being stored in the wallet.
